Within the scope of the modified Mayadas–Shatzkes model, the tensoresistance of a multilayered polycrystalline film is analysed theoretically. The general and asymptotical expres-sions for the coefficients of the strain-sensitivity (CSS) are obtained. A non-monotonic behaviour of the CSS as a function of the ratio of the adjacent layer thicknesses is predicted. A de-tailed calculation of the longitudinal CSS for the wide range of the layer thicknesses at various values of the parameters, which characterize the multilayer, is performed.
