«Analysis of Skeletal Muscle Contraction of Chronic Alcoholic Rats under the Action of Water-Soluble Ñ\(_{60}\) Fullerene»
0475–0485 (2021)

PACS numbers: 81.16.Fg, 87.16.dp, 87.16.dr, 87.16.Tb, 87.19.Ff, 87.85.Rs

The effect of water-soluble Ñ\(_{60}\) fullerenes on skeletal muscle contraction in chronic alcoholic rats is studied. The obtained data indicate a decrease in fluctuations in muscle strength during the phases of maximum force responses and levels of enzymes (creatinine, creatine phosphokinase, lactate, and lactate dehydrogenase) in the blood of experimental animals with the introduction of an aqueous solution of Ñ\(_{60}\) fullerene. This indicates that water-soluble Ñ\(_{60}\) fullerenes can be considered as promising drugs for the prevention and correction of functional activity of damaged muscle in the development of alcoholic myopathy.

Keywords: skeletal muscle, force of contraction, level of enzymes in the blood, water-soluble Ñ\(_{60}\) fullerenes, chronic alcoholic rats
