The formalism for determination of the energy and electrical charge, which are accumulated by the metal nanoparticles, is constructed, using computer modelling techniques. As shown, the particle charge may be increased by the external electric field. The values of the physical characteristics (energy, charge, electric potential) for small clusters of copper (consisting of 102–103 atoms) corresponding to their stability are obtained.
