«Influence of Synthesis Conditions on Physicochemical Properties of Titanate Nanotubes»

Optimal conditions and some features of formation of titanate nanotubes depending on synthesis conditions are determined. Using X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy and adsorption, it is revealed that formation of thermostable titanate nanotubes with developed specific surface area and sorption pore volume, length of 65–200 nm, and internal diameter of 4.5–6 nm takes place only at the stage of treatment with acid after synthesis.
