Software developed by the authors for calculating the multifractal characteristics of the electron-microscopy images of structures is applied to the analysis of a series of images of hot-pressed AlÂ\(_{12}\)–AlN nanocomposites. The correlation of the mechanical properties of these composites with the multifractal characteristics of both the phases’ structure and the phase-boundaries’ structure is revealed.
