The film-forming solutions to fabricate thin nanocrystalline films are developed. The thin films of the M-type barium hexaferrite (BHF) with the thickness of 200 nm, rod-like grains (dav???62 nm, lav???320 nm, lav/dav???5), and high magnetic characteristics (Нс????334.23 kА/m, Ms????0.005 emu; Нс?????167.11 kА/m, Ms?????0.003 emu) are fabricated by means of the ‘spin-coating’ method, and the uniform distribution of Ba and Fe ions over the film surface is demonstrated.
