The designing results of technology for fabrication of high-clean nanocrystalline composite powder and the new ceramics based on ZrO2 in the ZrO2–Y2O3–CeO2–Al2O3 system are presented. The chemical and phase compositions, microstructure, and physical-mechanical properties of the developed ceramics are investigated. As shown, the designed material is characterized by high chemical purity and high density of microstructure with a mean grain size of  0.3 m, bending strength not less than 600 MPa, high low-temperature stability of both phase composition and the mechanical properties under hydrothermal conditions. This allows recommending the designed composite for the manufacture of medical, structural and instrumental ceramics. This is achieved by the selected chemical composition of the material as well as integrated approach to the synthesis of initial nanocrystalline powder, forming of work-piece blanks, and sintering of composites.
