A given paper considers the influence of ageing regimes of high-temperature phase on subsequent martensitic transformation in Cu–Al–Mn alloy. The morphology of martensitic transformation behaviour because of alloy ageing under an annealing in a constant magnetic field with various sample orientation with respect to the field and without the field is studied for direct governing of the process of martensite induction at cooling. The temperature dependences of electrical resistance, magnetic susceptibility, and the temperature and field dependences of magnetization are investigated. The tendency of oriented growth of the precipitation-phase particles along a direction of applied field and the increase of volume fraction of these particles under thermal magnetic processing of material favouring a reversibility of induced martensitic transformation are revealed.
