Features of formation of the monolithic ceramics based on some topochemical reactions provided by high temperatures under pressure are considered. As shown, the choice of modes and con-ditions of the reactions enables to fabricate the materials based on the titanium and hafnium borides with a fine-dispersed structure and high mechanical parameters.
