The study and comparative analysis of local structure and mag-netic inhomogeneities of bulk and nanosize La0.7Sr0.3MnO3 man-ganites are performed by the x-ray absorption fine structure spectroscopy and nuclear magnetic resonance. Powders with grain size of 50–200 nm (NP1) and 20 nm (NP2), and bulk (BS) samples are studied. As revealed, the NP2 powder local struc-ture differs essentially from that of NP1 and BS manganites. At low temperature, the magnetic state of NP1 sample is homoge-nous. With the temperature increased, two ferromagnetic phases with strong and weakened double exchange coexist. The NP2 sample is magnetically homogeneous and characterized by weakened double exchange within the whole area of occurrence of the magnetically ordered state.
