The main problem of the investigation of nanofilms on a surface is the account of the interaction between the particles, which form the film. In contrary to three-dimensional nanocompo-sites, films on the surface have the geometrically conditioned anisotropy. This fact complicates the problem and forbids the usage of standard models of effective-medium approximation for the describing of these films. In this work, we carry out ellipsometric investigations of the films of metallic parti-cles randomly covering various substrates. As shown from the experimental spectrums, the interaction between the particles affects the own particle resonances.
