The methods for fabrication of new low-density carbon materials—aerogels (AG) with molecular-sieve properties are developed. They are based on the carbonization of phenol-formaldehyde resins using KCI-applicator, mechanical and ultrasonic treatment of initial material or material fabricated under different temperature conditions of a carbonizer. The structure-sorptive, electrophysical properties of AG, changes in microstructure, reactionary and thermal stability during carbonization and subsequent modification in different oxidative media (CO2, H2O) at different temperatures are studied.
