«Metals Nanopowders as Active Catalysts and Sorbents for Removing of Sulphurous Compounds from Oil Diesel Fractions »
205–214 (2009)

PACS numbers: 61.43.Gt, 61.46.Df, 81.07.Wx, 81.16.Hc, 81.70.Pg, 82.65.+r, 82.80.-d

The catalytic activity of gas-phase and electroexplosive metal nanopowders during the processes of adsorption and hydroennobling of diesel oil fractions is studied. The ability of fresh nanopowders to adsorb the sour petroleum components regardless of the sorbent obtaining method is revealed. The increase of activity of industrial catalyst PK-442 in the break-up of C–S bond is established in the case of presence of gas-phase Ni and Fe nanopowders covered with amorphous carbon. The catalytic activity of nanosize sorbents in the same reaction and the activity of gas-phase Ni(C) and Fe(C) in the hydration of aromatic hydrocarbons are revealed.
