Element composition of a surface layer of Al2O3—SiO2—Ò³O2 nanocomposites prepared by pyrogenic method is studied using the Auger electron spectroscopy method. Regularities in the dependence of element composition and structure of the surface layers on the content of alumina and titania are revealed.
