Effects of atom migration in surface monolayer are theoretically explored within the scope of the one-dimensional model of a structure. Patterns of distributions in monolayer are analysed for the most typical forms of inhomogeneities of underlying matrix. Probabilities of occupation of possible positions with atoms in equilibrium conditions are determined. Dependence of the main parameters on temperature is revealed.
