Nanocomposites of amorphous metal granules embedded in a di-electric matrix are prepared by simultaneous deposition of complex metal alloy and dielectric SiO2. Electrical conductiv-ity and complex permittivity and permeability are investigated as functions of metallic-phase concentration and thermal ageing conditions. Conductivity is found to be very strong dependent on dielectric concentration. Electromagnetic pa-rameters of amorphous composites exhibit nonlinear depend-ences of complex ? and ? on metallic-phase concentration. High values of magnetic losses and close values of ?? and ?? ensure effective absorption of electromagnetic radiation in micro-wave range that allows using nanocomposites as shielding mate-rials of absorbing type.
