Nanosized silver iodide with average particles size of 200300 nm and typical grain size of 30 nm is synthesized. Temperature of dielectricsuperionic phase transition in nanosized AgI is 47 K lower than that in microcrystalline silver iodide (with particle size of 46 ?m).
