RESEARCH ACTIVITIES

  • Atomic engineering and monolayers structures of metals – probe microscopy and spectroscopy of atomically clean single crystal surfaces; interaction of 0D-, 1D-, 2D-nanostructures with surfaces of solids and bioobjects;
  • The nanostructured metallic and metal-oxide systems – development of  physicochemical bases of synthesis, diagnostics and formation functional properties of nanostructured metallic and metal-oxide nanosystems;
  • Bionanotechnology – interaction of various spectral range emission with bionanomedia of eye; technologies of nanostructures for biomedical ecological applications;
  • Apatite science – synthesis, physicochemical functional properties of 0D-, 1D-, 2D-, 3D- apatite structures.

RESEARCH TECHNIQUE:

Atomic force and tunneling microscopy, X-ray and X-Ray spectroscopy, electron diffraction, resonance methods (NMR, EPR), EXAFS, tunneling spectroscopy, quantum-mechanical calculations of atomic and electronic structure and physical properties.
